How the brake drum is replaced at a modern VAG Master workshop
1 Wheel removal
2 Unscrewing the drum adjusting bolts. The wheel hub nut may also have to be removed.
3 Drum removal
4 Removal of springs and spring mountings
5 Securing the cylinder (e.g. with a clamp)
6 Disconnecting the handbrake cable
7 Removing the brake calipers
8 Installation of calipers, spring mounts, springs and handbrake cable
9 Drum installation
10 Installing the drum adjusting bolts and wheel hub nut
